Customer Reviews ::
Griots Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Polisher - Kenneth T. Rose -
I ordered the Griots Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Polisher with all the polishes, waxes, pads etc and anxiously awaited it's arrival so I could detail my wife's Honda. After a very thorough wash and dry job I pulled the car in the garage, cranked up some good jazz on the sound system and spread the machine wax 3 on the pad as directed. I placed the speed switch on 4 to start with and switched the polisher on. It worked absolutely flawlessly............for about 45 seconds. After the polisher quit, I figured I just threw a breaker but that wasn't the case. I switched outlets, extension cords etc. No help. The switch seems to be the culprit as I can get it to run on speed 6 but nothing else. What a disappointment! IT IS MADE IN CHINA too. Great. I called Griot customer service and they were very sorry about the problem and are expediting a replacement to me next week and I guess that's about all I could ask for. I'm really starting to wonder if I should have bought the Porter Cable????? Just my .02. Ken
